How much water do you need?

Staying hydrated is key to health & fitness.

Your sugar, salt, caffeine and alcohol levels will all influence your fluid balance in some way but you also have to take into account:

  1. The temperature;
  2. Your amount of lean muscle mass, and;
  3. Your frequency, intensity and type of exercise.

The more you sweat, the more fluids you need to replace! We like to use our handy 750ml WHEY AHEAD® shaker for water intake during exercise prior to mixing up our organic protein! 

Many health professionals suggest the following in terms of water needed vs. your bodyweight. It's only a basic guideline but at least it's a starting point! We hope you find it useful :
